The Maya Mobile Program consists of two simultaneous components. The Maya Mobile, a 48-foot truck designed as an archeological site, travels to schools within Los Angeles County, teaching seventh-grade students about trade and cultural development of the Maya, Aztec and Inka. During the classroom component, students have an opportunity to explore, examine and learn from original works of art from the museum’s Ancient Art of the America’s collection! (Source: LACMA)
